... that I've been scrubbing all my grout! Miles and miles and miles of it. The kitchen floor is finally finished and I'm heading into the entry with many miles of dirty grout yet to go. Looks pretty darn good so far though, if I may say so myself.

julie,

I absolutely detest tile - would you believe me if I told you that I've had nightmares of dirty dingy grout - particularly in bathrooms? I have! Our shower is all tile - included a bench where you can sit down - tile, tile, tile! Ewwwww.

Luckily I do have hardwood downstairs - except for our entryway. WHITE tile with white grout. I have so much to do, though, with the yard work (it may have finally stopped raining!) and housework I don't know when I'll ever get to scrubbing grout.

My hope is to someday get granite counter tops in the kitchen - its all the rage, I guess, but I don't have a few thousand dollars lying around, so I'll have to wait...

nutcase? Well, not really, maybe just off-center a a notch or two! ROFL My cabinets were sooo nasty (because I *didn't* clean and oil them like I shoulda) I gave up and painted the stupid things! They were really, really ugly anyway. :)

It's basically the newest "version" of the old linoleum (sp?). Armstrong makes it (and maybe some other brands). I got mine from Home Depot. It comes in big rolls and they basically cut it to fit. I got top-of-the-line stuff so it would last forever (I hope) and I just love it. Easy to clean and it's not as cold and hard as tile. And believe you me, I *need* "easy to clean"!!
