Thanks for the update-I like how slow and steady they make this process.
I think that was the right decision on the girl-he really doesnt need any GF right now! Not saying he shouldnt date and have fun but why add that doozy to his stress level. And any girl is bound to have her own dieting strategies-skipping meals or who knows what-a casual influence probably wouldnt affect him but committed might
DH went vegetarian when he had a deep relationship with a vegetarian-hard to believe because he is such a slab of meat guy but love must do strange things......
Thanks so much for sharing this - I think about you and Jason alot - it sounds like he is making great progress. Dealing with the latest GF stuff sounds like it was tough, and he faced it, and stayed emotionally steady. YAY!!! It also sounds like his program is thorough and cautious - exactly what you want when your kiddo is involved.
Oh wow, Pam. I get all emotional just reading about this! I can't imagine how you must be feeling.
This sounds like a really great program; how awesome that Jason is so committed to seeing it through and getting healthy again. Also VERY awesome that he made such an adult decision about his relationship with Amanda when he is at a very vulnerable time -- it would have been easy to go the other route.
Best wishes to you all as Jason continues to heal.
Hey Pam, thanks for that update. I think of your family often and wondered how Jason was doing. I'm so glad to know that he is moving in the right direction. Many gentle hugs and please keep us posted.
Pam! So good to hear about Jason! I know it's a rough road, but he's made so much progress compared to what you were describing several months ago. You and DH are so supportive, and it sounds like he's got a good therapist too. I think of you often and hope all continues forward progress!
I'd just like to come down there and grill up a batch of Daddios apple back ribs... :-)
Pam, I haven't posted here in quite awhile, but I started lurking a couple of months ago and have been following Jason's story. I can only imagine how hard this has been, but I'm glad to hear that he has such a supportive family and he is getting the help he needs.
