We have waited with bated breath for ds16's report card. We knew Spanish was very, very, very borderline as to whether or not he passed. Well, we finally got it. And, in keeping with our history with this teacher (she's the one that almost *every* six weeks, ds16 has had to make her change at least one major grade because she recorded it wrong), we *still* don't know if he passed or not. It doesn't show *any* kind of grade for the last 6 weeks (it's blank); it shows a 72 for his semester test, a 67 for the semester grade (which is actually failing), but a 70 for a final grade for the year. With that 70, he should have passed. But, it shows 0 credit for the semester. AAARRRGGGGG. BUT, depending on what grade *should* have been factored in for the last 6 weeks, he could go either way. So, did he fail that last 6 weeks and that is why he shows no credit??? Or, did he pass and it shows no credit because no grade was logged in??? Geez. I guess we will just wait until school reconvenes to see if he passed Spanish. ugh.

Aren't there any administrators around for a bit (or for summer school - ours is in session right now) that might help sort this out now, vs. waiting for fall? Best of luck.
Sue
What a dingbat ... ugh. So sorry this has happened to you and your DS.
Can you call the district offices? Ours here is open reduced days/hours here all summer, as is the district we are moving to in Colorado. There must be somebody there at least answering phones!
UPDATE::
woo-hoo! He actually passed! (Thank's for reminding me to call today, Pam!) I just now called the school, and they re-figured his grade and he did pass. Barely, but he passed. :)
Thanks to all for reminding me to call the school. Sometimes I have to wonder where my head is. LOL
