Just wanted to share--proud of dd today

I've shared recently that we've had some issues with dd lately--fairly minor stuff in the grand scheme of things I guess but things that made me concerned that there were warning signs with trust and not doing what she should, etc. that she was headed in the wrong direction.

So, I just wanted to share some good stuff too. This morning, despite the fact that I totally forgot to set my alarm, dd got up early, got ready and sent the dog in to wake me up to drive her to school at 7 a.m. (on a Sat!) to go clean up around the school. We're talking putting on work gloves and picking up trash, raking, etc. On the way there, I ask her since I still owed her $10 for mowing the lawn the other day but I had it in my

I love when those moments peek out (we do the same thing with ds18 and the bigger chores once he's home from college or when he's popped in over weekends and wanted to earn some extra money during the year)

You have every right to be proud! It's fun to 'catch them being good', isn't it? She sounds like a great young woman!
