Every so often there is a posting about the harmless little subject of "Sexting."

I think most people have a little self-destruct button inside them. Haven't you ever felt under such terrible pressure to be perfect in some area (work or home or maybe in your appearance) that you wonder what it might be like to chuck it all, say something rude to the boss or just quit? I'm guessing these high profile pols just have worse pressure and in an unconscious way, their screw-ups allow them to get out without saying "I quit." It's an ironic way to save face via humiliation, because somehow, being in a sex scandal is less embarrassing than saying, "I can't handle this. I want out."

That's one type of screwup. The other is far more dangerous. There are some people who really are addicted to risk-taking, and these are the people who scare me. It's almost as if they can't feel unless there's some risk involved.
