When our oldest was going to take the permit test, she had never actually looked at the driver's manual or taken any of the classroom component, but she still passed basically through common sense.

Our permit test isn't exactly a piece of cake, but any kid who's taken the classroom instruction and paid attention should be able to pass it.

If you want your eyes wide open to the dangers go to a Senior High School at dismissal time and watch carefully.

My kids aren't getting their D.L's till they are at or close to 17------I know I wouldnt say this when I was 16---but its just to dangerous to be driving at 16....
