I'm sorry, Kim. Just when you think they have found half a brain.....

Being a pessimist-or having boys who don't talk a whole lot-I often wonder if the girls who share so much with their moms have a hidden agenda? Not just yours, by any means. I read this from a lot of moms. But, ya know, it COULD be a smart strategy. Throw out enough spicy stuff that mom is convinced DD tells her everything and then doesnt check as closely?

At least she wasn't drinking!!!

DS2 was at a party-proven to not be drinking and released after calling us in the presence of the officers. He was being monitored by the courts at that time for using his brothers ID and said the reason he WASNT drinking was he knew what the court had said-he really did dot his Is and cross his Ts during that time

So, from THAT end, be grateful

And keep on monitoring closely

I'm sorry, Kim - it's so frustrating when they start earning your trust back and then do something like that.

Bummer...why don't our kids ever learn?

I don't understand why she should be served a summons. Is it illegal for minors to be around alcohol?

I've never agreed with the laws that punish kids the same whether they are the ones drinking or not.

In Texas minors can't attend parties with any underage drinking.
