so --- moving on to other places...hope its ok that i will still come around every now and then - i have gotten such great advice and support here, and even tho he is 20, he is still dealing with the problems of teenhood.

just wanted to let you know how he is doing - as i mentioned a while back, he started volunteering at a library while they were going thru renovations. this was his own initiative. anyway, he's been going religiously, every day. they asked him to stay on and continue volunteering indefinately.

so ---- things are doing better. i would liek to see him of course going to school and working part time (for money) but fo rnow - i am so proud of him. he has not gone back on the anti depressants, he is talking more - tells me interesting anecdotes 'about his day', and he is continuing his therapy.

Of course we want a voice from a survivor of "teenage-dom" to return!!

And good for your son. He will learn alot by volunteering... however, I do understand about wanting him to actually make money!
