Of course we wouldn't say it in "polite company", but there are many clothing stores that are extremely CHOOSY about who they hire to represent them, even down to their bottom rung grunt staff (if you know what I mean). Wal-Mart is NOT one of them...Old Navy IS ;)
He did say they had to watch videos about different things.
Of course Sunday he has to go to a mandatory meeting from 7-10 am, so guess who has to get up early? I don't think the bus would be running too often on a Sunday a.m. and I'd feel too guilty--I am such a softie. But I'll be glad when he does get his license so in that case I could say, "sure you can have the car" while I sleep later.
LOL- I am with you on the happiness once they start driving. When my dds were in show choir competitions, they'd often meet at 3 or 4 am on Saturday morning to start a bus trip. With the high school 20 minutes away (although, strangely enough, traffic was always good at 3 am), it made for a tough night's sleep.
Not long after dd19 got her license, she said, "do you think I should drive myself?"
Me: "ummm, yep, since call time is 3am!"
DD: "I'm not that good in the dark and the roads might be icy."
Me: "oh, you'll be fine. The roads are deserted at that time."
Dd: "What if you need the other car?"
Me: "we know where the high school parking lot is. Don't worry about us."

Congrats - I assumed he'd already started. Bet he'll do great! Did he have to do that computer based/video customer service training? Justin had to do that at both Penney's and Lowe's. I'm not surprised that there are so many 'old people' there. In this area jobs that used to be mainly teen jobs are now mosty taken by older people. Even though the economy is better the jobs aren't what they used to be.
Well they say, “You never forget your first one.” That applies to jobs also. LOL
Yes this is his 1st job--he just turned 16.
He was happier tonight cause he met another high school girl so it's not all old people.

Good for him. Remind him that "working with OLD people" is a skill too:smileytongue:
