I'm new here. My name is Lisa-38, married for 16 1/2 yrs. I'm a SAHM of 3 girls, 13, 10, & 8. We moved to Tennessee 3 yrs ago. I love crafts, and painting. I have recently started a website to show off some of the things I have done.

13 yo plays the clarinet in the concert band. 10 yo loves horses, has an amazing singing voice, and is starting middle school next yr. 8 yo is very outgoing & athletic. She plays basketball & softball.

My screen name is nothing exciting. Initials & last.

Well, the source of the name was as a result of a year of not drinking coffee. I went "cold turkey" on my addiction and resorted to tea to keep me going. I visit the boards as a means of relaxing and as a change of pace from my very technical job. I still use all the math I learned in grad school and then some. My poor brain! For years I was self-employed (still am) but now I am balancing that with working on call for a company. Today I took the day off without pay.

The kids laugh, they think it is hilarious that their old mom frequents these types of boards.

Married for 20 years to another "techie", we have DD19 and DS17. DD is in second year engineering in university. DS plans to join his sister in the fall.
Hey "booky"... I see you live not far from St Catherine's. Lovely area down there! We live a good day drive away.

I'm assuming that I am "booky" I like that, very cute. Yes, you are right, not far from St. Catherines, in fact we are just over the boarder, if I drive about 20 minutes I am in Canada. That is if the bridge or Queenston-Lewiston crossing isn't backed up. One of my favorite places in Canada is Niagara on the Lake. It is so quaint and beautiful.

My hubby and I just celebrated our first anniversary this past August in Niagara on the Lake! I agree that it is a beautiful little town and very friendly, lots to see and do. Loved it!!

I recently found this board and introduced myself a couple of days ago, so I won't bore you guys with all that stuff again. But I have 13-year-old B/G twins, and
