Yes, it got a laugh out of me, too! (Although, right now, both my kids are pleasurable to have around - go figure!).

Julie, this is so true. My little beagle is always happy to see me - in fact, she even gets happy when I walk back into the house after being outside for 2 minutes. Sigh...such devotion can only come from dogs, imho.

Hi, I just finished her book that has that quote in it..."I feel bad about my neck & other thoughts on being a woman", by Nora Ephron. I laughed the entire way through it!! It's perfect for all mom's, especially those(like me)about 45 or over.
