We all had our chance to say what we needed to say in that other thread.

Hi everyone...I've been in the same boat, searching for my spirit in spite of major financial difficulties and the recent death of my MIL...2 of my sons good friends are in trouble with the law. Last night a driver wrecked one of our trucks. Totalled. Thankfully the only injury was his broken hand. Very lucky.

Sometimes going thru the motions can be a good thing. After a while you find you are actually

It's funny how sometimes, just when you need it, the "man upstairs" lends a hand. Tonight, DH and I took our kids and some of their friends to a concert in a town about an hour away from where we live. We were having to kill time while they attended the concert, so we went to some hole-in-the-wall place for dinner. When we came out, we saw we had parked right in front of the most magnificently decorated house we have ever seen. There was a line of people outside, waiting to go in--apparently the inside was decorated for Christmas to the same extent as the outside. So we decided to wait in line in the cold & snow. I couldn't believe my eyes when we got in--there were hundreds of animated Christmas figures, trains, villages, collectibles. The entire house was decorated to the rafters! It is all done by someone who just does it for free, although they do ask for donations to defray their electricity expenses. (LOL) I told my DH, if this doesn't put us in the Christmas mood, nothing will. It was an unforgettable experience! (Now I'm typing this in our car as we continue to wait for that concert to end!)
