I always like updates on 'our' former teens!

We spent time with DH's SIL and husband this weekend and he traveled all over through the air force back in the day. He spoke of all the places he lived and it struck me that most military people have this history-they have lived multiple places and have accumulated a lot of memories.

Kinda cool....

Rose,

Thanks for that little update. I remember when you were posting about them when they were younger and it's hard to believe they are out and about the country. I can't imagine mine being gone. My one older brother was the only one that went away to college. I did live in the dorms, but it was still in the same city and I was home every weekend. After college my brother lived away for a while, but after SIL had their first baby they were back to Buffalo and we have all lived within miles of each other ever since.
I can't imagine my family all over the country, but you never know where they will end up living.
Happy traveling. LOL

((((((((huggs Rose))))))))) Thanks for reminding us of this. I know that I try to tell myself this all of the time, but it helps to hear it from others! Wow, you're gonna be one traveling mama *grin* I'm glad your "guys" are all happy doing what they're doing, I'm sure it makes all of the years of the past very worthwhile! Have a good day,

Julie

How quickly your three boys have grown into young adults! Once in a while someone will ask my DD about if she'd ever go to college in CA, and all I can think of is all those coast-to-coast flights I'd be taking! LOL Anyway, thanks for the note, too, about not wishing the teen years away. I think alot of the emotion on all sides is knowing this is the beginning of the real end of childhood, and moving onto young adulthood.
