I use a leave-in conditioner - Paul Mitchell works for me - to help my dry, winter hair. Leah uses moisturizing mousse, which seems to work for her hair, which is thicker and longer than mine.

In cold climates, heating the homes makes the air really, really dry - which is why "winter hair" becomes such a problem.

I've got TERRIBLE dry, frizzy hair. I just discovered a leave in product called Silk Therapy (but really, any "serum" does much the same) that is amazing. It is expensive, but you only have to use a dime-sized amount; I have no more frizz or fly-aways, and my

Another thing that helps us, at least at home, is a humidifier cranked just right so we don't go around zapping each other or having flyaway hair at home. FWIW.

I would recommend that when she washes her hair, since she does it daily, that she only lather and massage her scalp area and just let the lather rinse thru her hair length. And then do the opposite with her conditioner, apply it away from her roots and only on the length of her hair.

A light leave in conditioner can help if used sparingly. There is a product called Static-guard that can be sprayed into hats and onto brushes, etc. if you are so inclined. It doesn't smell bad, but it's not perfumey either.

This house came with one piped into the furnace. We just have to flip a vent on the furnace to open it in the winter and close in the spring. We control the humidity % by a wall control next to the thermostat

When we downsize(2-3 yrs)it's a feature I would add in the next home

Im anxious to to try some of these hair products though-although my issue is more age related the hydrangea's DD-LOL

Kel has long straight hair and has real trouble like this too. Recently she has been using Herbal Esscense None of your Frizzness. She uses both the shampoo and conditioner which is called a smothing shampoo and conditioner or something like that. This has worked very well for her.

From what I remember of C from her picture it looks like she might have a similar type of hair to what Kels has, maybe this will work for C too.
