Here in Alabama we have broken the record for triple digit heat since records have been kept. We have had several heat related deaths and for many of the farmers their crops are gone. When it's hot - tempers run high and I know in my house and most of my friend's houses - everyone is hot and grumpy - the teens even more so! But, yet, we are blessed. We have not had to endure the flooding and loss of lives and homes that so many others in our nation have. So, I'm just sending all of you who are dealing with the rains and floods a little prayer.
May God hold you close in his Almighty hand, give you strength and peace to be there for your family and friends and give your soul rest.
So many times, it is the mom who holds the family together. And when we get worried or stressed, so do the ones we love. Take a deep breath, moms, when faith is strong - you will always be o.k.

Prayers and hugs from here in Central PA. I have seen in the news the stifling heat and severe weather across the country.
May the Lord bless and keep you all safe

Bless you too and keep the faith,
Kristie
We have had lots of rain but no flooding in our immediate area. We are, however, wrapping up the first week of school in a brand new town and eeek! I am very much feeling the stress of it all.
Being sort of a high-anxiety alarmist, it is SO very hard for me to be the 'safe harbor' for my family -- in fact, I don't think I am doing it very well at all!
Thank you!
Echoing everyone's sentiments I send prayers for strength to those going through this difficult time.
