I'm a little confused--I posted a message under our Internet safety category here just this morning, and now it looks the entire category has been removed (or am I just missing something)?! I'm sorry if it's still out there and this is a duplicate. In essence, I do not

I'm not sure which version of AIM I'm running, but if you click on Edit, then click on Settings, then IM logging... and that's where you set whether it saves a log of conversations.

Thanks, Rose. That's how I've always done it in the past, but for some reason, I don't see the "settings" or the "IM logging" choices anymore. I wonder if the little "devils" removed it somehow!

LOL I don't think they removed it, I just checked on my version 5.9 and it doesn't appear to still be an option on there, although I know it used to be. I also had problems with the new 6.0 version over the weekend. I blamed my daughter, but it appeared to just be some glitch in the program. (Although DD blamed my computer because it is relatively old!) I had to uninstall and then reinstall it 3 times and now it is back to normal operation. On the newer version you can indeed log the im's, under edit settings, there is a tab for im logging.
