Send her or not?

So I know everyone is sick of hearing of dd's illness and the school but I have no clue what to do.
She STILL is running the fever that she has been running since last Monday. It's not much of a fever 99.6 and I kinda get eye rolls when I say it, but her normal temperature is between 97.4 and 97.8. So the way I look at it she is running the average person's 100....
This is also the same temp she was running at the onset of her mono...
Other than her weakness, consistent stomachache and headache - she's fine lol.
Do I let her go to school tomorrow? I know this is a stupid question, I really do but I just thought I would throw this out...
BTW she has missed a total of 18 days since the beginning of the semester. The inital 8 days from the mono, the last 6 from this recent fever, then she had a bout of bronchitis on top of the mono midway through..... ughhhhh (plus one day she missed prior to the mono getting her braces off, the gardasil vaccine and she has a physical therapy appt)

LOL she's been dying to go back since the first week! She is going absolutely insane just sitting around here. I just don't get where the fever is coming from - this child has NEVER been sick like this. She has NEVER ran a temperature for more than a day or 2 in her nearly 15 years of breathing! She already has late arrival to where she doesn't show up until the beginning of 2nd block - and like I said before she has the ability to take a nap in class or go to the nurse's office for a nap. She also has the option to call me at anytime to come get her.
I just feel weird sending her to school with a fever :-/
What a tough year your DD has had. (((HUGS))) for both of you!
I guess I"d let her judge how she feels today - and help her take it slowly.
Let us know how the day unfolds!

Sounds like she is staying well-hydrated. What about protein? I'm always pushing the milk or whey protein shakes with my DS when he's feeling sluggish and is in need of a brain or muscle boost. If milk upsets her stomach or if she is lactose inolerant, it's a little tougher. Maybe someone here knows of a good source of protein that's easy on the stomach, or you could call the peds office, or an athletic trainer or a dietician.
Like Rose, I'd let her go to school and come home when she gets too tired.

Well, we tried :D
DD was still running a temp as we walked out the door to go to school. She was still dizzy and weak with a headache. She was all prepared to go. We made the decision to go see the nurse to get her opinion. Nurse of course didn't want her there with a temp. Get back home and take her temp again, no fever, so I'm hoping it's gone now. Now I'm sitting here debating whether to get her back into the doctors today.
Tonight is dd's winter sports banquet which I'm not letting her go to.
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day :D
