I just read a post from another mom that mentioned something about a spy program which I guess enabled her to see or track what her dd was doing on line. Does anyone know anything about this or something similar? I would love to hear about it if so.

I'm quite fond of eBlaster from SpectorSoft.

Pricey, but still less than bail, therapy, an abortion or paying for a stay at the maternity ward.

I use big Brother. It cost me $35.00 to download and I can check all Aol,MSn chats.. also all hotmail, outlook, and any othe mail program. Their is no monthy fee just the download charge. It is Bigbrother.com. I like being able to check and see who she is talking too.

I have just tried bigbrother.com, and it didn't work :(

When you use bigbrother.com, how do you monitor what you child is doing? Do you have to log into his/her computer? My son's screen is password protected, and if he is away from his computer for more than 5 minutes, I can't get on it.

The simple answer to that is to *tell* him to give you his password, then set it to something else yourself and don't tell *him* what it is. He only uses the computer when you sign him onto it.

You are the parent, he is the child.

LOL - occasionally FF and I do agree - you are the parent, he is the child. Have him log on while you are there, change his password, and tell him in the future he needs to come to you to log on!

The software we have is SpectorSoft. It is the best investment ever! Of course (as you know from my post), you don't always like what you end up finding out by having the software, but it is worth it. You can download it for $99 on the internet.

Good luck!

I just purchased eblaster. Same company as SpectorPro. Difference is eblaster can send you an email message to your office machine - so you get what is going on at home on their computer while you are away. I just installed it yesterday and did a test myself and it worked great. No activity from child yet so we will see how that goes. Also - if you buy elbaster or SpectorPro - be aware you can only load the software on one computer. If you try to load it on 2 computers, it will disable the program on both.
