I am new to iVillage and appreciate a venue to inteact,?" listen & hopefully create a fellowship to be a part of. I am a stay at home Mom to an incredible 13 yr old girl who (for me), is the greatest love of all but not without too those moment's, where I withdraw to the fetal position...for fear of "what in the hell am I doing, NOW what?
I am immensly Blessed to be Home raising her, caring for our home & family tho it is the result of my being placed on Perm Disability 5 yrs ago @ 42. So with the disabilities the recent landing of my Mom moving in with us & being diagnosed with dementia I am of late most often laid out in my own (private) tempertantrum. Hard to hear "who, you? Cool?, giggle " your a Mom" to "Mom today is Thurs" for the 100th time & "No, not today you need rest before you can drive & shop"...knowing she will NEVER drive again.
Most days or should I say "moments" tho I Thank GOD for whom He has entrusted me to do his work in the caring and raising of my ddr and now my mother. Many times I have gone to my Husband placing my head in his chest & telling him "how deeply he is Loved & grateful I am he chose me, leaving his tear soaked shirt to the phone that is ringing I suppose to save him.
I chose to become a member for what already is mentioned but too for an attempt (once more) to reduce the current EVER increasing isolation that comes in waves that yes I CAN boogie board, but for the one's I am scarely far too instinctual for my own good & I need some advice, wisdom & wit would be TREMENDOUSLY appreicated.
So before I disclose too much further I will 1st allow this to be viewed & land with whomever it is intended.
I appreciate the time & effort YOU stole away from your day to be here.

Thank you
