How was your Thanksgiving for those of you in the US? Ours was nice but small. Justin had to work til 7 so we ate when he got home. Just the boys and us, Jason's fiance, and my sister and bil. Normally their 27 year old ds comes, too, but he had to bartend that night. Jason and Jackie took him a Thanksgiving plate the the bar where he works after we ate. Justin went over to his gf's after dinner and the rest of us watched 50/50 after Jason and Jackie got back. Got the house decorated for Christmas the next day. Justin's gf got a seasonal job at Kohl's. Her first job ever. Her first shift there was bagging from midnight Thanksgiving until 10am Friday. Poor thing! Hope you all had a fun, relaxing weekend!

Uh oh - I just saw that I mis-spelled sure in the title of this post and I can't edit it. I'll go on and take those lashes with a wet noodle now from the spelling police!

I haven't had much computer access (by choice) but I should tomorrow. I came in and read what little was here but I'm putting off replys until I get some free time!

Youngest DD had a Black Friday birthday this year so I didn't get her anything...until we walked down to the sales late in the morning. NOW she has her very own laptop. She's thrilled!! BUT we don't have the wireless yet since my ancient dinosaur desktop is plugged in. I've mostly let her take over my ethernet cord for the weekend.

Yep- RULES!! #1 is if I'm EVER locked out of it EVER, or ANY PROGRAM...it's MINE. She knows the routine, but I really don't see me having to look over the shoulder of this particular kid. We'll see.

Thanksgiving was at oldest DD's house and middle DD stopped in for a little while so I was able to get some pictures of all of them together. Dosen't happen often.

Well DD is done with the shower, I heard the water shut off. I'll be back tomorrow when she goes to school:smileyhappy:

Although ds19 was off Wed-yesterday, we rarely saw him. He came home Tues night after dropping his gf off at the airport, then came home and played XBox way past our bedtime. DH worked Wed so we got up early and got him off; ds slept til12:30. That evening dh had his MBA class and I had volleyball, so ds went to hang with friends and spent the night in his on campus apartment, coming home in time to help me make cheesecake Thursday. Then we went to MIL's around 3 and hung out til late. Then ds stayed up later playing games again, and got up late Fri (and Sat) and worked Fri and Sat 4:45-1am, and then again yesterday 9:45-5. So we didn't see him much but at least the small doses were nice!

I've been swamped at work and the 5 days home with the kids whipped my tail!! We had a quiet thanksgiving at home since we don't have relatives near at all. The rest of the weekend 3 of the 5 of us were sick (DH, ODD and the youngest). We spent most of the weekend resting and cleaning the house getting ready for christmas. We've got someone coming to do the last bit of touch up on our trim work on the house, so we're holding off doing lights outside and inside, I wait until a week before christmas to prevent the litlte ones from destroying the tree. The littlest isn't to the age yet where she'll leave it alone for very long.

We had a pretty laid back Thanksgiving - went to my nephew's house on Thursday, then to my sister's house on Saturday.

Oh Rose I'm SO happy for you! Will this be the first time Zach sees his new nephew? How are things with James - does he come around when he can? Is he still seeing the girl that he moved out with? You need to post a recent picture of Wyatt!

That must really be exciting--after having the boys away for so long, to have them all home at once!

I had TG w/ my side of the family & my kids went w/ their dad.

Are your mom and aunt local? What we like doing for MIL (81) is taking her on an 'adventure', usually dinner and some concert or play. Most fun to just get together than get stuff any more. Or we all have kicked in to get housecleaning help; not exciting but appreciated. Or we all kicked in for her bday and got a larger flat screen tv. Just some thoughts!

And Rose - awesome - enjoy!
