The first draft of DD's Global Studies term paper is due tomorrow - her topic is how the student riots were instrumental in the ending of Apartheid - and my living room and desk are covered with notecards and books. I don't dare move a thing, because I'm sure there's an organization here! When she had the cards laid out in a grid on the carpet, I was a tiny bit annoyed (and worried that her little bro would think it funny to mess up the cards). But I love her initiative with this, and her brother resisted temptation.

Since the draft is due tomorrow, I'm hoping to get my living room back soon!!

I guess you could be thankful it's not a paper on the 'History of the World'! Then your whole house would be run over with paper, lolol.

When DD has a map or timeline due for her Euro class, I run into the same thing ... books, papers, markers, paint, etc. all over the kitchen and dining room. Good thing she is enjoying this class so much.

Hats off to L for tackling such a challenging subject! I'm sure she'll do well with it; sounds like she's off to a great start.
