Does anyone happen to know what the differences are in the various state editions of textbooks? As long as the book is published the same year, all editions should contain the same info, right?

The reason I ask is that DD wanted a used copy of her U.S. History textbook to keep at home. I've searched the ISBN# and found NO used copies online! I have found the book

As far as I know, not many schools get new editions of texts every year. I know we don't here. Have you asked the school or looked to see the copyright on the particular text you're looking for?

US History is pretty basic except for the Presidents- I know 2 years ago my DD's Text listed Ronald Reagan as the last President. Sometimes there would be suppliments added for certain parts of it.

I know they won't have one for purchase. They supposedly have a book shortage (increased enrollment in the class, I guess?) and the books ( the US History books, ...not ALL textbooks) are to be left in the classroom. Sufficient classtime is supposed to be given for "homework", but she wanted to get a used book for home just in case she needed it.

That is a good idea, though. Surely, someone at the school could answer that. I've googled and can't find an answer, I figured that someone would've had that question before!
