May you all have a blessed, joyful holiday. For those of you that don't - may you all have a great weekend, too! Do you still get your teens Easter baskets?

Happy weekend and Easter to you too! Yep, my teen still gets an Easter basket (as evidenced by my panicked thread below asking for ideas, LOL). I finally finished shopping for both kids' baskets yesterday!

Yes, I still make Easter baskets for my teens (and pre-teen). I bought them gift cards for a change and the designs on them are Easter eggs which is so cool so that's what's going in their baskets a/w their favorite candy. Happy Easter to you!

Well, we hit a milestone this past Monday as our youngest DD turned twentyteen and her hubby crosses over into that same old age in a few weeks. I am really getting and feeling OLD—very old.

Yes we do the candy baskets and this year we are doing them for both of the little brothers as oldest is able to understand candy and what you do for one you do for all.

Yes we do celebrate Easter with the household of faith that rejoices in the birth, life, death, and the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We have always strived to separate all the secular hoopla from the “reasons for the seasons” that we celebrate as the faithful. Something that I have never understood is why those of other faiths confuse Santa and the Bunny with the Savior. I think as a non Christian I could celebrate Santa and the Bunny without getting confused. However, I could be wrong.

All the best to each of you and yours!!!!!!

I don't have teens anymore but I still make them baskets. According to out 28 y/o DS one never outgrows a need for candy. Lol. Hubby took our grandson to the Easter Egg hunt this morning - now that's something we haven't done in years and years. Wyatt didn't quite know what to do at first but he caught on pretty quickly.
