Ok, this isn't about parenting, or teens. OMG.....of all the things one encounters at work....the people that don't wash hands, the personal information that we don't want to hear, the weird medical ailments people suffer from....you all know what I mean.

I was in the restroom and someone else enters and goes into a stall. No big deal. You can hear a cell phone being turned on....again, I HATE it when people talk on the phone in the potty, but oh well...it happens. BUT NO........I hear the sound that can be set up on a phone----of a CAMERA....as in TAKING PICTURES.............what in the world?

First of all ewwwwww, secondly, OF WHAT would one take pictures.........(no, don't answer that). I'm flabbergasted---disgusted and totally weirded out........even if it was innocent---or not what I'm thinking (even tho I'm not SURE what I'm thinking), why in the WORLD would you let that sound happen from your cell phone with SOMEONE IN THE BATHROOM WITH YOU???

Oh, I'm NOT a prude, but this really takes the cake.

Shels,

Only because my DS took a drawing of his into the bathroom last night to take a pic of this do I even have any idea why this might have happened. For W, the drawing was in pencil and the light in the bathroom is bright and when he put the drawing down on the lid of the toilet seat, he was able to get a really good pic of it.

So ... perhaps this person was taking pictures of a document? And she didn't want anyone to know? Perhaps it was a confidential document? Or something she was not supposed to be privvy to? That she 'thought' she needed? For evidence? For blackmail? To be nosy?

Just some thoughts.

My, my what a suspicious mind you have (LOL).

My thought was maybe she has a rash and was taking pictures to e-mail to her friend who is a nurse or doctor. But it would leave me with some strange thoughts too!

Whatever the heck this person was photograghing (and I'm inclined to think its something personal rather than a company thing because that is better done via photocopying or scanning) they are obviously so stupid that they didn't even bother to shut the darn camera sound thing off on their phone. Yeah, its just a setting. They had to know someone else was in the bathroom and would her and wonder....

...it could be worse. They could be on the phone having phone sex .... eek!

Ok, I get what you are saying, BUT your son took his drawing into YOUR bathroom AT HOME and took his photograph----I understand that---I understand that maybe my incident was not ANYTHING like my wild imagination has been thinking, but in a public restroom in one of the largest office buildings in the city (yes, small city), AND it is a State Government office.....I would SERIOUSLY suggest to that person to not have anything make CAMERA noises......it's just too strange. Blech.

Wow, you are suspicious. I immediately thought of something dirty when I read the OP!! Haha - you're right though, it could have been some kind of confidential document and he/she was working undercover...oooohhh sneaky.

Maybe I was a spy in a previous life? Nah ... just too many spy, espionage and mystery books and movies.

So, how does your garden grow? So far this year, that is ...

LOLOLOLOL!!!! You could always ask the person what in the world they were taking a pic of!!!! Not so much for the answer, but more of the embarrasment of the other person. Maybe they will think twice (or at least check to see if they are alone) next time!!! That is too bizzare!!!! I hope you have a better day!!!!

I'd have been looking up and down trying to make sure there wasn't a phone stuck over/under the stall wall. Yikes
