frist off, calm down. how old is your daughter?my daughter is 19 does not live here lives with a troll of a man. her dad and i were divorced

You're so right Shannon - they do go through a stage where everything that goes wrong in their lives is all mom's fault.

Don't know what other advice to give you, except that maybe her school guidance counselor might be of some help? They might know how to approach things with her and see where she's coming from, and maybe even encourage her to see a therapist. Maybe if the request isn't just coming from you, she might listen to it.

you are so right, i am always telling my hubby you have to pick and choice your battls if not you ae gonna be one miserble person. he did not understand kayla and to be honnest i thought it was because she was not his, but now that abby is 12 and hitting that mouthy i know everything stage i can see the same reaction in him. girls are tuff, boys are loud and rough and they solve there probals with a big mouth and sometimes fits, girls are grudge holer and even getters. you just have to have to let it go. makes life much eaier for everyone. girls are so much fun.

I got this from my dd's therapist, but she tells parents that when they feel their child is in need of a therapist you need to think of it in these terms:
