Yes, it's headed where I am too....maybe a delayed school opening tomorrow! That would be fantastic as far as I'm concerned!

I hate freezing rain! I would rather have snow. Today is nice. It's about -9C (15F) here, good walking weather.

"I hate freezing rain! I would rather have snow."

I agree. I've always said the worst weather is 33-45 degree rain. We'll luck out this time--the DC area is supposed to get up to 58 tomorrow, but it will rain.

We can't allow the weather to turn cold here until Friday. Our water heater is not working and the new gas valve won't arrive for 3-4 days. It stopped last Wednesday, the plumber came on Friday and it started up again, but for just one cycle--then we discovered on Saturday that the burner would not light again. The good thing is that if we have to go to the gym to shower, we'll be sure to get our exercise in, LOL.

It seems I've been talking more to plumbers, roofers and siding guys than to my own family lately. Guess that's what happens when we buy a great location instead of a well-built home. We had both in MI, but lousy weather. Someday, if DH ever retires, we hope to have it all in someplace warm like AZ, or maybe Jamaica!

Yup seems the ice stayed south of Lake Ontario so we didn't see any of it this time but we did see some light snow.

Our yuck is just starting now. We are supposed to have freezing rain and some snow tonight and early tomorrow and then it is suppose to warm up a little. Only into the low 40's, but that's better than in the teens. Hope everyone is staying nice and cozy warm.

I hope everything works out OK. I remember, as a kid, we had problems with our gas furnace in March (about your winter temperatures). Boy was it cold!
Wishing you warm sweaters and cosy blankets

Ice here too, and for the next 2 days. DS15 is hoping they call school off...his school has only been closed 4 days since it opened way back when; once last year for an ice day. He's got the kids from his school on Facebook in a 'club' hoping for an ice day tomorrow! If so, I hope I don't have to go to work - don't like to drive in that stuff. I'll take snow any day (Chicago had snow, STL has ice)
