Thank you to all who replied regarding my visit with my ds...when my oldest ds and I arrived with dd13, my middle ds and my ex husband were already seated at the Subway with ds eating lunch, so any hopes of having lunch with him went out the window.

Wow! At first I thought the ex was trying to hit you up for money but then I read the 100 dollar gift part.
Is it at all possible that the ex plays broke to make it easier to say no to ds for money that could be used for drugs? It sounds like he wants to help but is clueless-perhaps thought he had some inside knowledge and now realizes he is in over his head?
I am glad you are able to speak with dd daily.
