Update on Max

Well,

last week when I posted about how Max was just suffering on a daily basis at school due to the ex GF and what she had accomplished to do to Max and his relationships with the kids at school I told you that there was more going on and that I would update.

During the last few months with all of this going on, it also became apparent to DH and Max and I that he needs to be "out there" more than he has with his acting and singing.

LOL Kelly,

I know I would just kill one of my children if we tried that here LOL :)

Congrats on the good news, Julie! It sounds very exciting for Max!

My DS, who is in 8th grade, is also interested in performing arts. He has the lead in his school's musical this year and had a major role last year too. He has asked about participating in a performing arts program at our high school, but I haven't had the guts to really back him on this yet. It would mean dropping either his world language or band--but language is so important for college admissions and marching band is already a huge part of his life.

It's inspiring to hear about Max's experiences! Good luck!

Wow, I want to move near you! DS would absolutely love that wonderful opportunity. A huge congratulations to Max and you for helping him through everything. See, there's always a silver lining.

The play is a version of Cinderella....what 13 y.o. boy doesn't want to be known around school as "Prince Charming", right?! His band director won't let him live it down! He fell and broke one of his front teeth a couple of weeks ago, and when I saw it, my first thought was "You can't be Prince Charming looking like that!" We had it fixed by the next morning, poor kid.
