Visiting colleges

Later this week, I am taking my daughter to visit a college she is interested in. I am wondering what if anything she should do to prepare for this. Does she need to bring a copy of her transcript, or save that for an interview at a later time? What questions might she be asked? How should she dress? I didn't go to college until my 30's, so this is all new to me.
Thanks in advance!
Sue
Unless she has a private appointment with an admissions counsellor or department head she doesn't need a copy of her transcripts. All the college visits wer've gone on entail large groups of potential students and parents listening to presentations by different staff (admissions/financial aid/residential/etc). Often followed by Q&A with current students. Then you break into smaller groups for a tour of the campus led by a student volunteer. Sometimes lunch and/or refreshments are provided.
Google "college visits."

My DD is a Junior, and we will be visiting colleges this summer as well. She wants to go with friends instead of her father and me. (she finds me embarrassing because I "ask too many questions") Do many kids go without their parents?
When we went on our one tour (ds was determined to go there, and is) there were no kids there without parents because it was clear from the start that it was aimed at everyone, including those who'd be dealing with the financial aid or paying the bills, wanting to make the parents feel their kids were safe, get everyone a tour of the buildings, talk about things to do around town, etc. They wanted to inform the parents of what it'd be like for their kids to be there, what their part would be, and so on.
