i had that poblem with kayla was she was 16, i is the only thing she ever lied about.

well, even when we are rather easy going, they still sometimes get into their heads that Mom & Dad might say no and get afraid to ask. Could be the radar of their conscious going off. Could be,like your son, not understanding the reasons parents said no in the past. Could be comments from friends.Could be that they just don't want to disappoint us.
Who knows?
