I'm never sure whether I should buy candy I don't like personally (less temptation to dip into the bowl) or candy I do like.

Sadly....we don't get trick-or-treaters.

Haha, I wind up buying Halloween candy twice because despite my best efforts at hiding it, H finds it and eats it all!

I buy bite sized everything with an assortment of about 5 different kinds. This year we have milky ways, 3 different kinds of snickers, tiwzzlers, & 3 different kinds of twix. I have to buy another as H ate almost all the snickers!

We eat the leftovers - we're all chocoholics around here!

We get, no kidding, at least 200 kids coming by here, so I have to buy regular sugar candy. No fancy stuff here. I have to actually buy the candy that has the numbered bag, you know? I try to buy the assorted stuff that looks kinda fun, but almost every year, my kids still end up giving out their own candy anyway. In past years, I would buy chocolates and stuff, but it would cost me over $20 and I just can't afford that much candy! I spend about $10-15 as it is and make sure I have at least 200 pieces so I don't run out. Usually tootsie pops and lollipops and the like. I did splurge and buy a bag of mini chocolate bars, but guess what, I've already broken into them myself! LOL

We get 20-25 kids so not a lot,we live on a quiet street so not everyone wants to be bothered walking it.We are giving out a mini chocolate bar and a juice box.You can buy boxes of juice packs for about $2 so not expensive. We also went to Wendy's and bought a couple of the halloween coupon books. We will give a coupon to some of the kids we know personally. They are $2 for a book of 10,5 free small fries and 5 free frosty's.My kids love these as a Sunday afternoon treat and are a great deal!!

My DS came back from trick or treating last night w/ his usual bag of candy, but the wierdest thing was that someone gave him a can of soda.

A guy at work was telling me last year his son got a 6 pack of soda from a neighbor, so he changed 2 different times to different costumes to end up with 3 6 packs!
