visitors of the opposite sex for 'dropping' over?

Rules for opposite sex friends dropping by are the same as for same sex friends just dropping by with one exception - no opposite sex friends are allowed in their rooms until they're adults.
Our rules are similar to Rose's about friends dropping by (opposite sex friends must be in common area of the house).
No, it doesn't 'sound' right to me either....
Cheryl, I can't remember how old your dd is....so I apologize if this is out of line for your child's age.
I think that when it comes to friends dropping by, opposite sex or same sex, your dd should pay you the courtesy of at least asking you first if its okay.
I will apologize for the 'slut'..
My rules are almost exactly the same as Rose's are. Kelsie's curfew is 10 on shcool nights and 12 on non school nights. So that pretty much holds for having people leave the house. She doesn't get why I don't allow her to have her guy friends in her room. She is always saying, they are my friends mom, you think I'm going to have sex with them in front of my other friends or something? She just doens't see why I won't let them in her room.
OMG I don't want to overly concern anyone but....I was a teenager once too and although I was a bit older when I met my first serious boyfriend (I was 17 going on 18), I will say that two determined teenagers, even if they are restricted to being at home, will get very creative when it comes to getting physical.
Cheryl, I hate the term slut too, but I would also likely use it when talking with my DD about girls who have sex with random boys without the benefit of a relationship - because that's a term she can relate to.
Rose, of course I know that the vast majority of young men would never do this to a girl.
