Hope no one minds that I am starting this one, but we haven't had a roll call for quite a while now. Let's see who's out there.

Hi Kristie

I'm Sue, in Queens, NY. We celebrate Hannukah, which starts next Tuesday, YIKES! Usually it's a pretty small "just us" holiday. Mid-month (because that's when we can do it) we'll go to my parents' house for a extended family celebration - it's fun, but a little crazy! Finally, we'll spend Christmas with my MIL. We did this for the first time last year, and I thought my kids wouldn't like it (since we've never celebrated Christmas before), but they had fun - decorating the tree, emptying stockings, etc. I have to admit I'm sort of a scrooge on Christmas - it has gotten so it's so "in your face" for more than a month. I'm glad people love Christmas - it's just EVERYWHERE that it gets a little bit much.

Sue, mom to Leah and Seth

Sue in St. Louis, mom to M@(15, sophomore) - about 2 days after Christmas each year (Christmas is always, always at MIL's) we have the whole K clan here (24 in the immediate family) for pizza and a ride through our local park lit up with a million lights. It's fun. Prior to all that we'll go to Chicago to visit with my folks, guessing it may be the last Christmas with at least one of them (we were just there over the weekend, it was so hard to see that).

Jo,

The font you've used on your last few posts is so teeny tiny I can barely

Hi, I'm Jane, I live in NY, about 100 miles north of the city...3 kids, no plans yet, taking the rest of this year one day at a time.

My MIL passed away Sunday night so things pretty much stink here right now...she was 80!

Elizabeth here in Lansing, Michigan, mom to the "three big boys"--Matt, 17; Chris, almost 15 (two more weeks); and Greg, 11; and the "1 lil gal"--Cathy, who turned 5 last week.

We don't go anywhere for Christmas and probably won't be hosting anyone.

I am laughing because at home, H changed something about the fonts from our defaults and now everything appears larger than life to me, yet when I go back and look at my posts, I can see that it is quite small~

And at work, my nephew teases me because my fonts are already set larger than normal so I don't have to strain my eyes and he often goes in and changes them to be really small. It sucks getting old. My eyes are failing me~

I simply cannot win. I will make sure they are large enough to read!! Thanks for letting me know. Good heavens I wouldn't want anyone to my posts - Haahahhhaaahaaaa!! ♥
