When you find out the answer to that one, let me know. When it comes to peace, quiet and relaxation, I'd much rather have N, T and half a dozen of his friends hanging out here than N and one or two of her girlfriends!

I have recently discovered that it's not just 4 girls but 4 guys can make that much racket as well. I raised only girls so I just always thought boys were quieter. Boy, was I wrong! Lately the teen boys at church always ask to ride with me. Between the music, the duck calls, and the laughter from the funny faces they make at passing cars, I will go deaf by the time I'm 50 (amazingly not that far away). But I love it too!!

Maybe it's the nature of the noise... coz you're right, boys can be pretty wild too. But girls screech and scream and giggle, but boys laugh and yell. Maybe it's just because i'm more used to the kind of noise boys make? Heaven knows I've had a house full of them around more often than I've had a housefull of girls.

What fun for L -- I hope it went well and that your hearing is restored!

I don't know about 4 girls, but last night when I picked DD up from this latest 'Sweet 16' party and was waiting outside bday girls house in my car, this hummer limo thing rolled in and it was absolutely rocking! Between the music (bass and volume cranked up to max positions) and ??? number of girls 'dancing' inside, the thing was swaying like a ship at high tide.

Glad they're all having fun, though!
