Where are you going and what's the plan? Do you own a Time Share? Are you pleased with it?
We're planning a trip home to MA for Thanksgiving week, YAY!!!!! I Hope all goes well!!! Wish me luck! My car needs lots of work but I'm staying positive...law of attraction, ya know! *wink*

Not really a vacation, but we are going to San Diego for a couple of days this month. DH is working there over the weekend and DD and I are going to hang out at Balboa Park and maybe the zoo.

Yessirreebob! I am planning a vacation FROM driving down to my in-laws! We are staying home this Thanksgiving AND Christmas! Usually we are on the road for what SHOULD be a four hour drive. However, around the holidays it gets really nasty. Last year it took us SEVEN hours to drive home. To top it off, Elena got sick while at my in-laws, throwing up approximately every 45 minutes all night long. My MIL drove me so crazy during that long, long night that I nearly did something terrible to her. I decided then and there NO MORE! We are staying home and hang the consequences!

P.S. Of course, one of the consequences could be that the family will come to our house for Thanksgiving, but at this point, that seven hour drive from Hell is still fresh enough in my memory that I would rather cook Thanksgiving dinner then go down there.
Oh poor baby!!! I HATE when that happens away from home!!! I always get paranoid that the home owners will catch it!
PS Yes, I prefer that you stay home...I don't want to see you in the news as a disgruntled in-law! LMAO!!!

Balboa Park is a public park of a few thousand acres in downtown San Diego. It was set aside in the early part of the 20th century, kind of like Central Park in NY. It is full of museums and is home to the San Diego Zoo.
I lived in San Diego for many many years and Balboa Park is one of my very favorite places to go. Here's a link:
