Everything was a hit for dd. One pair of pants is a bit too long & a pair of sneakers is too big, but she'll grow into them & there was one game that was a duplicate from last year that we need to exchange. Her digital camera has a defect, but the store we got it from was great about resolving that. Everything else was great.

I don't mean that she's played with everything yet (if she had I'd be dragging her to the pediatrician & demanding a prescription for either something to chill her the heck out or something to speed us up to keep up with her LOL) with birthday & Christmas w/in 5 days of each other coupled with a huge extended family AND winter being long here in MI I'm glad there are some things that haven't been played with yet; there are many more winter days yet to come.

(and I'm naughty ;o) I started picking up items for Easter baskets already ~ I got dd a really cool pair of Supergirl rollerblades in her next size . . . . she'll get those & a scooter for Easter, she wanted them for Christmas but they're kinda useless in Michigan in December LOL)

Edited b/c I'd forgotten about the too big sneakers.

Tre got a steering wheel for his video games and LOVES it. He also got two books about cars and all of their details (I'd say what they are but I haven't a CLUE, LOL!) and loves them. He got Old Spice personal hygene items and he feels like daddy now, HeeHee. I can't think of one item he got that is a miss with him.

Trinity got a little laptop from grandaddy and that was a miss because its still alittle old for her. She is happy to be pushing buttons but she wats results and it's hard because she's just not gettig the math and spelling concepts (Gee, I can't imagine why...she's 2! *wink*) She also got a cleaning cart that she loves and a leap pad baby which she loves.

They both love the Dot Art and family games and movies so all in all it was a great HIT for us this year! =)

LOL Ordinarily I wouldn't have gotten anything for Easter this early, but when dd asked for the rollerskates & scoooter for Christmas (she outgrew her old scooter & skates) we told her that Santa would rather bring her stuff she could use now & maybe it would be better to ask the Easter Bunny & that we'll hand her outgrown ones down to her little cousin for her 3rd birthday along with some other stuff for her b-day present.

I've seen a cool 2 wheel Barbie Scooter at WalMart that I'm going to see if I can't pick up next weekend (If I can escape alone for a bit) while they're still on after Christmas clearance; I just have to find out what the height is on it so dd's not scootering like quasimodo like she has been on her current scooter for a while now LOL.

Happy Belated Birthday Mallory! Good luck Johnna planning for future birthdays/Christmas's (I know that's not the right way to write that, but I can't tack a$$e$ on the end of Christmas; it feels wrong LOL).

Aubrey loved pretty much everything she got!

Let's see.. she got a 20" bike (I got it on clearance at walmart for $35!). She has a bit of trouble getting on/off but can ride it easily (seat all the way down). A 16" would have been better (hers is used and pretty trashed) but I couldn't pass up the price. lol

She also got Polly Pocket things.. I got the cruise ship off Amazon for $17 (reg. $60!!) and she just loves it. She's doing a great job picking it up and not leaving pieces around (I always worry about my baby eating the shoes or something, lol). She also got an organizer thing and I think that helps.

She got more play food for their play kitchen and loves that.. she also got a Fairy Barbi doll thing from my SIL that she likes a lot and plays with almost every day. That surprised me. She likes the Leap Pad but hasn't used it as much as I thought she would.

Of course the bouncy house I got is a HUGE hit. My kids just love it.

Oh, I guess the new sheets for her bed weren't that big of a hit. ;o)
Here's some pictures..

This was christmas Eve at my mom's.
