What were your child's favorite toys/gifts for Christmas?

What was his/her least favorite, could have done without toy this year?

Gillian *loves* her Cranium Cadoo game, Doodle Bear and anything artsy. I also bought on after-Christmas clearance for $5 a hobby horse that neighs and plays the Lone Ranger theme. She's been wanting one for a while and for $5 it was a great investment, she hasn't let it go for two days! Oh and her sister gave her Shrek 2 and she's watched it a million times already.

No real duds, she likes everything and will get to the rest when her favorites have been played with a while.

Lynn,

All of Sherina's gifts were hits!

Since her birthday is 3/19, she only receives 3 Christmas gifts from Santa. She got a pair of roller skates, a Barbie car & a Raven-Symone Barbie. My niece, who's 8, gave her 2 more Barbies & a Barbie SUV; MIL gave her a furry boa which she LOVES to wear. My mom gave her the best gift of all; a savings bond!

The only real "problem" is that Sherina didn't know how to roller skate when she got them; she loves to learn, though!

DH & I will have a hard time topping Christmas; Santa did an EXCELLENT job!

Ds got about 6 million Bioncles along with sets and books and movies that are all Bioncles. He also loves his Nintendo Ds with Nitendogs, lift tickets and ice skates. Dh and I got him an electonic keyboard, and a few board games. He has some gift cards and money as well. Wow!

I don't think we had any duds here either Lynn. Brionna loved everything. Her favorites were her new dollhouse, her doodle bear and pad and her Full House DVD set. Oh yeah and she bought a real Barbie guitar with some money she got for Christmas. This weekend I bought a Groovy Girl tent (normally $19.99 on clearance for $3.48) at Target. She is having so much fun with that. She has groovy girl dolls and those mini Ty dolls that fit it nicely.

Hi. I'm new here, I think. I remember signing up for boards before but forgot if this was one of them. Anyway, hello all. I am mom to one, Stephanie, age 7 1/2. I would love to join in on your fun and join by answering this question.

Actually, she seems to be playing more with her old toys than new ones. She goes back and forth. She is definitely playing all her new Disney CD's on the CD player and she loves her Little Princess CD player and CDs that my brother gave her. She was playing for awhile "My Little Pony" boutique. She also likes her Dora Candyland Game my brother gave her. I feel she is too old for it, but she still likes Candyland. She loves all her artsy stuff, but we haven't used all of them yet.

So far she hasn't done much with her puzzles. She used to love puzzles and do them all the time so we got her 4 of them and my MIL got her one, but she hasn't shown much interest. Her father did one puzzle with her, but that was it so far. Hopefully she'll get into it again. They are 200 pieces and she is used to doing 100 and she keeps saying, "it's too hard." So maybe when she is older.

She is nice to join you all.

What were your child's favorite toys/gifts for Christmas? Harry Potter scene it, Disney Princess portable DVD Player, Digital camera

What was his/her least favorite, could have done without toy this year? Her moon shoes we had to put one strap on because she is so light and she still isnt really heavy enough to use them right. Her Harry Potter game cube game i thought she would love and she hasn't played it more than once.

Christmas went really well this year and there weren't many "misses".

I'd have to say the biggest hits were the Glow-in-the-dark Doodle Bear, the Littlest Pet Shop Whirl Around Playground, and the Groovy Girl Salon. The biggest miss was the Polly Pocket Quick-Click Boutique. That thing just doesn't work right and falls apart.
