I've realized today that despite knowing she will be turning 6 soon I am in denial about both kids getting older. My mil called today asking which weekend we are doing Lindsay's party on and all I could think was why is she calling me the first week of January about that?

Thank you for the welcome Melissa. I had a hard time when Lindsay started Kindergarten because she was my lunch buddy. Even though she'd been in preschool it was only 3 days a week and she was home by noon. Without her at home I still can forget to grab something for lunch until after I get her.
