Hi, I am a mother of 3, and a step-mom to 2. Heres the deal.......

My 7 year old goes into the nurses' office at school every single day. Each week, it seems to be something different, a stomachache, an earache, her cheek hurts, her leg hurts,etc..... you name it she has it!!! I have spoken to her in depth about her days, her friends, her teacher. I have also spoken to the nurse at school, and she is just as perplexed as I am.

Any advice? I have tried to bribe her that if she doesn't go to the nurse for a whole week, then she would get something special, and so far, she has yet to make it through a week without.

Yesterday, I kept her home from school because she had "diarrhea". Believe me

Do you have a school counselor? If so, she/he may be able to help get to the bottom of this. Last year my DS was having a hard time adjusting to his new school, and the counselor was an absolute godsend.
