Haven't been here in a really long time--happened to be browsing today...

1. We got tons of Reeces peanut butter cups--we like them frozen!

2. The kids don't like Almond Joy (I do!). I threw out all of the round jaw breakers, gum balls and bubble gum. We had a choking incident one time, and the bubble gum all seemes to be rock hard.

3. Not sure. The kids have lost interest.

4. One hour.

5. We usually just do our own block which is about 15 houses. This year we ventured out to two other blocks. I'm so paranoid about the kids getting candy from people we don't know.

What was the candy you got most of?

Not sure - I haven't gone through it yet.

What was the candy NO ONE will eat in your house?

I don't think such a candy exists! :)

By when do you think all will be gone?

Oh, in a couple of weeks. I give the kids one piece of candy with their lunch for dessert and one or two pieces during the day. We only went to a few houses due to the rain so our 'haul' was less this year, thank goodness.

How long were you Trick Or Treating last night?

We throw a party for the neighborhood kids and their families every year. Everyone comes to our house for goodies and pictures and then we all head out to trick-or-treat together. With the pre-party and trick-or-treating combined, we had fun for about two hours.

How many neighborhoods did you hit?

Just ours.

If you didn't go Trick Or Treating, what did you do last

Well, we did go trick-or-treating last night, but I also am a co-party mom for my first grader's classroom, so we had a party in the class yesterday also. It was so fun - don't you just love first graders? We had five stations for the kids to rotate in groups through. We had one station where they made treat bags for trick-or-treating, one station where they made either pumpkin, black cat or ghost reflector necklaces to increase their visability for trick-or-treating, one station where they made eyeballs out of powdered sugar donuts and frosting, another station where they made the ghostly footprints that someone on this board wrote about - huge hit, by the way, and a snack station. Then at the end they had a present pass. Each child selected a wrapped Halloween themed present, sat in a circle and listened to a Halloween story. Whenever they heard the word 'pumkin' or 'Halloween' they each passed their present to the person on their right. At the end of the story they got to open the present they were left with. Lots of fun! But boy was I tired last night!! :)

What was the candy you got most of? Snickers bars (which is kind of funny since ds has a peanut allergy)

What was the candy NO ONE will eat in your house? Heath bars

By when do you think all will be gone? A few months. Joseph doesn't eat too much candy because of his allergy, so dh and I buy it from him and he'll take his money and buy a toy or something. We'll probably eat a few pieces a night :)

How long were you Trick Or Treating last night? 2 hours

How many neighborhoods did you hit? 1

If you didn't go Trick Or Treating, what did you do last night?
