Hey.
I honestly feel like controlling portion size at dinner time will help tremendously. If anything, try giving her a good snack at like 4pm, then an appropriate size dinner at like 6. Ei, 1 baked chicken drum, 1/2 cup sweet potatoes, and 1/2 cup garlic roasted green beans should be a perfect size dinner. She may be hungry and begging for more in the beginning, but over time her body will get used to it and before you know it she'll say she's stuffed! :) Also, make sure she's drinking plenty of water as that will help control her hunger. 1/2 cup every hour will do wonders. And lastly, a great winter exercise you can both do together is a easy kid friendly yoga. I live in the rainy Pacific NW and so getting out to do anything is pretty much a drag. lol. Hope that helps a bit. Good luck!
