When I was helping DD with her valentine's this year, I was surprised to learn there were 27 other kids in her class. That seems like a lot to me so I was just curious how it compared with other classrooms. Is there more or less students in your child's classroom?

Wow, that seems extremely high, especially for elementary school! My kids go to a school that is p2 - Grade 12. In p2- (so the two year olds)-p4 they have 10, k-5 they have 15, elementary school 17-18, middle school 20, and high school up to 22.

Mom of 6 and loving every minute of it!

Woah! Maybe it's just because I live in a tiny country town but that seems REALLY high to me! We have 15 kids in each class...at the very most. Often, less than that. How in the world do you give kids any kind of individual help with 25-30 kids in each class?!?

That does seem a little on the high side but maybe that's the average- I'm really not sure! Is there an aide in there to help? There are about 22 kids in my 3rd grader's classroom but I think it's closer to 30 in my 7th grader's classroom. I'm going to ask them when they get home- now I'm curious! Smile
