I chaperoned Shelby's field trip

to a bowling ally this am!! Gosh 6/7 yo boys are much rowdier than the girls LOL.

They started something new this year with the whole elementary school ~ to stress positive behavior every quarter you have to meet certain criteria (>5 missed days, >7 infractions, no missed homework, etc. etc) and the PTO is paying for it. It is really a good program.

Anyways for this quarter we went to a bowling alley, I was scared the whole school was going today, but thank goodness it was only 1st graders. They had a great time. And it was only for 1 1/5 hours which was just about right because some were starting to get a bit bored. Of course no one wanted to go back to school.

Does anyone else have a program like this.
