Are you marking down the days until Christmas with an advent calendar?
We actually have 2, one my MIL made and I bought one of the Lego City ones for the first time.

No advent calendar at our hosue this year - DD would just eat the whole thing! But it's a good reminder for next year. I loved them as a kid. Yesterday I was visiting a friend who has a DD who is going on 3. She reminded her mom that it was time to open another door and get the chocolate out. We never had the kind with chocolate when I was a kid! Just little pictures behind the doors!

The chocolate ones are much better than just plain old pictures!
