Those stupid cards were the biggest pet peeve of ours when we went to Las Vegas- they were literally EVERYWHERE!

I would just start a conversation with your son and ask him why he kept the cards. You never know, the reason could still be totally innocent (i.le. he's keeping them as a "souvenir", the same as he would if the cards had clowns on them instead). However, since you said they were hidden, I do understand your concern that it's something more than that. Definitely take the cards from him and explain that nude pictures like those are only for "adult eyes". Try to keep it as low key as possible so that it doesn't become a power struggle, where he wants the cards simply because he knows it's a forbidden thing. I always have to throw things away when my boys aren't around b/c if they see me doing it, it only makes them want it more!

Good luck and let us know how it goes!!

Ugh! I feel for you. We drove through LV last summer and stopped for a night to show the kids. They kept wanting to take those cards from the people on the street and I had to keep yelling "NO! Those are dirty!" (in so many ways!)

It's especially hard at a time when you're trying to get the concept of PRIVATE parts through a child's head. I would just explain that there are some people who show their private parts, but that it's inappropriate, especially for children to look at.
