Hey, ladies,
Ever since we got our bearings back after Katrina, I've sort of been a WAHM. My DH works for the Corps of Engineers, temporarily supervising the placement of blue tarps on damaged rooftops. He gets a map every morning (and a shoddy map at that!) telling him where he needs to be each day. Since non-Coast residents put these maps together, I go to Mapquest.com & either give him directions by phone or print out the maps for him to take with him. Together we are learning more about this little town we live in more than we ever have--and he was born & raised here!
So as a result, I haven't had much time to come here to update everyone on our progress. I promise to try to make it here at least weekly!

It's still crazy, but we're actually adjusting quite well! As for me, I'm enjoying this second stint of SAHMhood even more so than when Sherina was younger. I get things done more efficiently and I make sure I take time out for myself before she comes home. Hopefully, though, for DH's sake, things will slow down!
