We do have a tooth fairy pillow that we use when we can find it!

Melissa,

I'm not a big fan of the tooth fairy either. I've forgotten on more than one occasion and then I feel bad and have to make up some cheesy excuse. I often wonder what my kids will think when they find out I've been lying to them all these years (about the tooth fairy, Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, etc).

Going rate for a tooth is about $2.00 around here. Of course that amount varies by what I have in my purse. :/

What do you all do with the teeth? I know some people save them but I've never been able to do that. I toss them in the bottom of the garbage can after I retrieve them. :)

I know my oldest has said before that if they don't exist than that means that mom and dad have been lying to us all these years.

I can certainly understand wanting to be done with it all. It is really fun when they are younger but as they get older, it seems like a chore. Not only that, but the level of lying seems to increase (especially once kids at school start talking). I'm sure it will be nice to have some help from your oldest in the coming years! (and isn't it funny how all of this seems to be on us? why don't our husbands worry about this stuff?!?)
