I'm glad you are going to stick up for yourself! I sometimes think that people don't realize the amount of work they are making for other people ( like yourself!). When is your next meeting?

Melissa,

I think I would approach it just like you did here. Explain to them that you had more time when you took on the responsibility but things have come up that take priority at this point. Let them know that you are getting really burned out and that while you are happy to help, you can't be doing the majority of the work like you have been.

Good luck! It is hard to do this when you've been the one that everyone depends on. Let us know how you approach it and how it goes.
