Hello ~
I'm new to this board. I have a newly 7 year old dd and a newly 10 year old dd. What kinds of things are you referring to? I have an older daughter, so I'm familiar with the curriculum at our school. It is truly amazing how fast they go through things now - it does seem to me that there are MUCH high expectations now than there were when I was going through school. It always make me feel really bad for those kids (LOTS at our school) who don't have involved and interested parents.
