What size bicycle does your 6/7 ride?

We're trying to decide whether to get our 6yoDD a 20" bike for Christmas or wait until her 7th bday in the spring.

DS-13 & DD-9
We have dd's seat on her 20" all the way down and she can touch her toes on the ground while sitting on the seat. That is how you tell if the fit of the bike is correct for a child, they should be able to touch the ground with their feet while sitting on the seat, not so for an adult but for a child they should be able to. I suppose we could of just raised the seat on the 16" but she looks very big when she rides it now and she is an average sized child.

We got dd (6 in August) a 20" bike this summer (July). It was a bit big at first but now it fits her just fine. She is about 46" tall now.
